- 14 August 2001: Maintainance of the FAQ is now in the hands of the Cabal.
Removed all sites from the FAQ which contain programs which the copyright holder has requested not be distributed.
More new and updated Resources and Where Is...? information.
Moved the main site
again. Sorry for any inconvience... also, the Norwegian mirror
of the FAQ is back up to date again, and there are two new UK mirrors: 1,
2, a new
US mirror and a new
Brazilian mirror.
Finally, one of the Dutch mirrors
has moved, but the other has gone away.
Added the Amiga port of x128,
the BeOS emulator Beccy,
the Windows emulators GLECK
and SpecEmu,
the Dreamcast emulator DreamSpec
and the Psion 3 emulator ZXemul
- two more platforms with Speccy emulators!
Updated the information on ASp,
Finspe,
Fuse,
JASPE,
JX-Speccy,
RealSpectrum,
SEM,
Spectrum 48 (C64),

and Z80Stealth.

- 11 Aug 2000: Moved to the main site for the FAQ to its new location.
Also, the Italian mirror
of the FAQ has moved, and there is now another Dutch mirror,
another American mirror
and a brand new Polish mirror.
World of Spectrum has moved. Hopefully I've fixed all the links, but tell me about any I missed...
Split the DOS/Windows emulators page into DOS
and Windows pages. Merged the BeOS, C64,
MSX, NeXT and SAM Coupé emulator pages into the Other Platforms
page.
Added the new Windows emulator SEM,
TI89/TI92+ emulator Tezxas
and Mac emulator zxsp;
updated the information on ASp,
JX-Speccy (formerly known as 'JX-Spectrum'),
RealSpectrum,
Sinbas,
Specci (Atari),
Speccyal,
vbSpec,
xzx
and Z80Stealth. Removed the
entry for the Atari emulator 'Spectrum' as this was just version 1.1
of Specci.
Changed my e-mail address throughout the FAQ; the old one will still work, so don't worry too much about it.
Burnt all .gifs. A bit late for Burn All .gifs day, but still worth doing.
Unsurprisingly, new and updated Resources
and Where Is...? information.
A small clarification to the shadow screen information in the 128K Memory section.
Added a new page on Peripheral Ports.
- 2 May 2000: Updated the information on ASp,

New and updated Resources, as always.
Added a pointer to the new .AZX sound format.
Changed the copyright conditions to make them less restrictive.
